Job Summary: Our client is seeking a skilled and compassionate Pain Management Physician to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Pain Management Physician at our facility, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients with acute and chronic pain conditions. We are looking for a dedicated individual who is passionate about providing comprehensive pain management services with a focus on improving patients' quality of life and promoting functional outcomes.
Job Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with acute and chronic pain conditions to determine the underlying causes and contributing factors.
- Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, preferences, and treatment goals.
- Utilize a multidisciplinary approach to pain management, incorporating pharmacological interventions, interventional procedures, physical therapy, psychological counseling, and complementary therapies as appropriate.
- Perform interventional pain procedures such as epidural injections, nerve blocks, facet joint injections, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulation, and intrathecal drug delivery systems.
Qualifications: - Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of a residency program in anesthesiology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, neurology, or psychiatry, with fellowship training in pain management preferred.
- Board certification or eligibility for certification in pain management by the American Board of Pain Medicine, the American Board of Anesthesiology, or another relevant specialty board.
- Current CA state medical licensure and DEA registration.
