1st Shift, Monday – Friday.

Job Summary:
The Nurse Coordinator will provide outpatient clinical care andpatient/family services on an initial and ongoing basis. The Coordinator will serve as thepatient/family’s liaison between the EP Director, cardiac cath lab, nurse practitioners, andcardiologists on all EP related issues. The individual is the subject matter expert onmanagement of out-patient EP services and serves as a key member of the Electrophysiologyteam.
Responsibilities:
Education:• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
Experience:• Five years’ nursing experience in an environment commensurate with the practice settingand programmatic needs of the EP Cardiology patient population (i.e. cardiology clinic,cath lab, EP lab, etc.).
• Demonstrates effective physician relations, communication skills and organizationalskills.
• Supervisory experience (preferred)
Licensure:• Active Kentucky or Compact LPN
Certification:• Basic Life Saving (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) (required)• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (preferred)• CCDS, CEPS, or CDRMS certification from IBHRE (preferred)
