Job description

We are currently seeking a Temporary Registered Nurse (RN) (21 hours per week) in our Adult Day Health program at our Gen Center in Fall River Ma. Our schedule is Monday through Thursday 8:00 a. - 12:15 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., with no weekend or no major holiday shifts.

Adult Day Health is a medically-based program that helps the participant remain independent while promoting good health and well - being. Adult Day Health helps participants to reach their highest level of independence and functioning.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for ensuring proper medical care for participants, including acting as liaison between participant’s primary care physician, monitoring participant’s health status, and supervising program staff. 

Duties include:

The ideal Registered Nurse (RN) must be licensed by the Board of Registration to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and in good standing. Must have at least two (2) years recent experience in the direct care of the elderly or chronically disabled persons. Must be CPR certified.
