Job Description:
Utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision making skills, works independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. Provides health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. They may care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted in age-related category and area of expertise.
Education Qualifications:
NP: Master's degree in nursing
PA: Bachelor’s degree in a health/science-related field
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
NP:
Current licensure as a registered nurse in appropriate state.Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in appropriate state.Current certification in CPR.National certification in applicable area.Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice
2023 - NP – Acute Care Hospitalist Fellowship – East Market
PRACTICE SPECIFICS:
The Essentia Health Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Fellowship is a 12-month post-graduate fellowship program designed for certified Family Nurse Practitioners or Adult Gerontological Nurse Practitioners who are new to hospital-based medicine and seek to earn their Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification through a partnership with the College of St. Scholastica. Our fellowship program is designed to help the nurse practitioner develop knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to make a healthy difference in the lives of the hospital patients and families we serve.
Candidate must meet the requirements for admission to the College of St. Scholastica Adult-Gero Acute Care Practitioner post graduate certification program.

Pay Range
$111654 - $133994 / year
The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
