Job description

The Lutheran Home is looking for a Certified Medication Technician (CMT)to join our healthcare team. In this career you are an essential team member providing medication administration and care for residents within our health center. You will work alongside other nursing services team members ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents. 

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Administers prescribed medications to residents and maintain related medical records under supervision of a nurse.
• Takes vital signs or observes patient to detect response to specified types of medications and prepares report or notifies designated personnel of unexpected reaction.
• Assist residents with ADL care as needed.
• Answer call lights and take appropriate action.
• Completes documentation accurately, timely, and following facility policies and procedures.
• Reviews resident’s care plans and performs nursing care as outlined.

Hours for this position are generally 6:45am -7:15pm and you will enjoy a set 2-week schedule working 7 out of 14 calendar days with every other weekend off.  As a full-time team member, you can take part in our many benefits including:

License/Certification: 

• Current  Missouri CMT certification 
• CPR certification  preferred
