Job description
Title: Case Supervisor
Pay Range: $22-$28 + bonuses
Summary : The Case Supervisor (CS) is a role which holds both clinical and administrative duties and responsibilities. The CS reports directly to their BCBA . The position is a Part-Time or Full-Time role and is a non-exempt position , and the CS is expected to available on Weekends as needed . The position requires at least 5 billable hours per day .
Responsibilities
- Under the direction of a BCBA, assists in writing and implement ing individualized behavioral treatment plans and behavior support plans
- Under the direction of a BCBA, p rovide clinical oversight and program modification for the cases assigned to ensure accelerated patient progress through developing individualized programs, establishing measurement systems, ongoing assessments, and parent guidance
- Manage and develop behavior analytic skills of behavior technicians to promote the delivery of high-quality services
- Supervises and supports assigned Behavior Technicians.
- Provides feedback and direction to Behavior Technicians
- Responsible for retention of Behavior Technicians u nder their supervision
- Training behavior technicians, family members, and other caregivers to implement revised protocols
- Conduct parent training as assigned by the BCBA
- Communicate regularly with parents to facilitate the clinical objectives of the patient's treatment plan
- Under the supervision of a BCBA, assists in c onduc ting re-assessments and treatment plan reviews
- Provides 1:1 direct services as assigned/needed.
- Maintains compliance with time rendering, clinical note documentation for themselves and their entire team o f and Behavior Technicians.
- Manages assigned caseload and utilization of authorized hours
- Provide staff development, training, and modeling for team members (including caregivers) in strategies and protocols to ensure treatment fidelity and promote generalization of skills across environments
- Maintain compliance with applicable federal and state laws and regulations .
- Meet regularly with the ir BCBA to review treatment plans, discuss case conceptualization, and problem solve any barriers to patient progress
- Collaborates with funding sources as needed
- Attend scheduled meetings and communicate with management proactively and on an ongoing basis
- Demonstrate a high level of engagement in company culture (i.e., a "culture champion"), including participation in companywide projects and initiatives and participate in professional growth activities such as trainings , team meetings, and conferences.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Keeps up to date with, best practices, and industry trends in the field of autism and developmental disabilities
Qualifications
- MA/MS in ABA, Psychology, or related field with 2 years of experience designing or implementing behavior analytic services OR
- BA degree + Enrolled in MA/MS program with 12 units towards BCBA coursework + 1 year ABA experience designing or implementing behavior modification services
- Valid driver's licenses, reliable transportation, and ability to travel through designated geographic areas
- Successfully pass a criminal background check, TB tests, Pre-employment Physical/Fit for Duty exam, and have or receive immunities to MMR/ Varicella during onboarding
Preferred Qualifications
- Administering standardized and non-standardized behavioral assessments
- Writing medically necessary treatment plans and positive behavior support plans
- Designing instructional programs
- Developing short and long-term objectives for instructional programs
- Utilizing a variety of teaching/instructional formats
- Implementing family guidance and coaching
Skills :
- Process driven and detail-oriented
- Excellent organizational and time management skills including the ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize appropriately to deliver timely results and consistently meet deadlines
- Ability to empathize and communicate with parents and guardians professionally, with confidence, in parent communication and training to achieve goals
- Communication skills, both oral and written, that are clear, concise, exhibit leadership, professionalism, empathy, and inspire confidence
- Ability to work full-time, as defined by the company, including some flexibility regarding schedule changes required to accommodate patient and staff needs
- Ability to work and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders from wide ranging backgrounds
- Highly motivated and energetic during work hours
- Experience and competency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams
- Experience with ABA data collection software is preferred
- Ability to successfully complete and pass Background and Reference Checks
