Primary Responsibilities:
- Communicate and work with other project/EDW managers, project team, customer, and the EDW delivery/operations, BI Reporting/Analytics, and MDM team to coordinate all aspects of the project
- Serve as a technology generalist to guide the team on-prem and Cloud based solutions/implementations; partner with other teams such as product, architecture, legal, financial, accounting, Center of Excellence (CoE), and leadership as required
- Lead as a functional/business specialist or subject matter and liaison between the customer business team and technical project teams; partner with other State partners or vendors as required
- Serve as a key resource on complex and/or critical issues
- Support in meeting the Management by Business Objectives (MBOs) to achieve employee experience, customer loyalty, financial/revenue growth, and innovation goals
- Review work performed by others; provide recommendations for improvement
- Forecast and plan resource requirements
- Authorize deviations from standards
- Lead functional or segment teams or projects
- Provide explanations and information to others on complex issues
- Lead, motivate, and inspire other team members
- Manage customer relationships and anticipate customer needs to proactively develop solutions
- Develop and negotiate win/win solutions to project issues
- Support growth to the project/program
- Work with end users/customers to understand and develop requirement
- Organize and lead project related meetings with customers, development staff, and sponsor level staff
- Develop/maintain formal Project Schedule
- Deliver timely and accurate Project Status Reporting and Project Quality Management
- Deliver Project Resource/Staffing Management
- Lead to deliver the project/contractual requirements and actively manage project triple constraints, and risks/issues and action items to manage the needs of the stakeholders
- Lead/Support all knowledge areas of PMI, project management principles, and all project performance domains – per the latest PMBOK
- Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with programmers, analysts, immediate supervisor, management, system users, operations, other State agencies and the private sector
- Meet with users for clarification and elaboration as necessary to clearly define a problem and conceptualize a development plan
- Recognize, gather, correlate, and analyze facts, draw conclusions, define problems, and devise solutions and alternatives; and make appropriate recommendations

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience managing a contract for a program valued at $5 million in revenue or greater
- 5+ years of experience with managing complex application development projects with 10 or more resources, especially with Cloud based implementations
- 5+ years of experience managing customer relationships
- Experience working/leading projects with Master Data Management (MDM) such as Informatica MDM, Profisee, or equivalent tool
- Experience working/leading projects with BI reporting/data analytics for decision support systems
- Proven excellent written, verbal communication skills, and presentation skills to executive teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMI Project Management Professional certified
- Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP) certification
- 5+ years of experience with Medicaid or healthcare
- 5+ years of data warehousing experience
- 5+ years of formal personnel management experience of both direct reports and matrixed resources
- State Medicaid Data Warehouse or Medicaid Management Information Systems experience
- Solid understanding of Medicaid Program including Program management, Program Integrity, and Federal Reporting (such as T-MSIS, MARS, and HEDIS/Quality of Care measures or equivalent projects)
- Experience with Agile methodology, Scrum framework, and Agile/Scrum projects
- Experience with project and contract level change management and issue management
- Experience with project development methodology and project management methodology and able to apply methodology in a practical manner
- Experience with Cloud based technology such as MS Azure, Snowflake database, Python, Azure Data Factory, Data Bricks, et al.
- Experience with data streaming, data analytics platform
- Teradata/IntelliFlex experience
- Informatica experience
- Business Objects experience
- SAS experience
- Tableau/PowerBI experience
- SharePoint experience
- Experience working with Agile project and tools such as JIRA, DevOps, VersionOne, Rally, or equivalent
- Experience with Microsoft Project

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
