Healthcare Staffing Professionals is currently looking for Radiology Technicians to work in a our clients clinic located in Santa Monica, CA. Pay Rate: Local: $59.14/hr = $2,365.60/wk Travel: $25.00/hr + $45.00/hr travel stipend = $2,800/wk Shifts : 8am-4:30pm or 11:00am-7:30pm (3/11-6/8) 2 weekends per month, holiday rotation required Job Duties: Diagnostic Imaging: Conduct X-rays and other diagnostic imaging procedures as prescribed by physicians. Patient Preparation: Ensure patients are prepared for procedures, explaining the process, and addressing any concerns. Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain radiology equipment, ensuring its functionality and reporting malfunctions promptly. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records, including details of procedures performed, patient histories, and other relevant information. Safety Protocols: Adhere to radiation safety protocols, including the use of lead shields and monitoring radiation exposure. Collaboration: Coordinate with healthcare professionals to understand specific imaging requirements and deliver accurate results. Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of imaging quality and patient care. Patient Comfort: Ensure the comfort and well-being of patients during procedures, providing support and addressing their needs. Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to medical emergencies and provide assistance as necessary. Continuing Education: Stay informed about advancements in radiologic technology, participating in continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge. Requirements: 1 yr exp, Rad Tech license, ARRT certification, AHA BLS, CDPH Diagnostic and CA Fluoro permits from a JCERT accredited rad tech program. Exp: Recent OR, Pain management C-Arm, ER and Inpatient portable. PREFERRED exp: O-Arm and intra-op 3d spin imaging
