Job description

Overview

We currently have an opening in our Manager, Enterprise Applications.  This position drives the Cobb EMC Our Way culture for enterprise applications solutions. Leads the functional configuration, implementation, and support of the corporation’s ERP environments. Works with the Director of Enterprise Applications in the development of best practices and standards for the department and cross functional teams throughout the business. Develops procedures and processes for enterprise applications operations and oversees the company’s systems integration initiatives. Maintains high levels of performance and reliability while supporting our users. Oversees user support for ERP applications. Leads troubleshooting and testing efforts on both cloud and on-prem ERP environments. Provides oversight of Cobb EMC’s integrated Infor / Lawson Hybrid cloud environment.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree from accredited institution in Information Systems, Finance, Economics, or related field.

Minimum eight (8) years’ experience with:

Prior Supervisory Experience

Experience with multi-platform technologies, relational databases, application testing processes and project planning & execution.

SKILLS:

Proficient in the skillsets listed in the ‘Purpose of Position’ section above - specifically with Infor/Lawson systems.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to isolate, document and resolve application related problems.

Experience supporting integrated enterprise systems.

Experience with querying data for troubleshooting or reporting.

Expertise in analyzing, isolating & resolving ERP issues using industry standards and sound troubleshooting techniques.

Excellent change management capabilities to implement business process and system improvements.

Ability to supervise, lead, & manage resources and teams to deploy systems to an agreed upon project cost, scope & schedule.

Effective oral and written communication skills; interpersonal skills for interacting with various employees and groups.

Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision, appropriately handle confidential information & work off hours/shifts as needed/required.

PREFERRED:

Previous utility industry experience.

Demonstrated public speaking and presentation skills.

Experience with Infor Data Replication Sets and Spreadsheet designer for queries / uploads.

Certifications – Infor/Lawson or related *Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning systems, implementation, operations, and support. *Knowledge of advanced principles and techniques of systems analysis, design, and documentation.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Work in general office environment. Work time in excess of normal workweek, as needed.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

INTERNAL:

Receive direction, approval, status of work assignments, and instruction from immediate supervisor .

Work with IT Division on software maintenance/patching and with other departments on ERP operations.

EXTERNAL:

Effectively serve all customers to achieve increased customer and public support of the Corporation.

Work with vendors/service providers on database problems, system enhancements, troubleshooting, and new technology.
