Job description

This is a part time (0.4 - 0.6 Status) variable shift Ultrasound Radiology Tech position in the Diagnostic Imaging Department.

Responsible for the daily operation of diagnostic ultrasound services using independent judgment based on predefined ultrasound protocols and radiologist direction.

Minimum Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound. RDMS registry or registry eligible. If registry eligible must obtain registration with ARDMS within 12 months of hire. Basic verbal communication skills. Basic computer skills. Capability to perform on-call, shift, holiday, and weekends when required within a 30-minute response rate for callbacks. BLS Health Care Provider within 3 months of hire.


Preferred/Desired: Prefer recent hospital experience. Additional training in radiologic technology and vascular ultrasound a plus.

On-Call/Weekends: Yes.
