Responsibilities
The Liability Auto Claims Representative is responsible for, but not limited to
- Maintaining their caseload, email, voice-mail, and calls daily.
- Identifying coverage issues, Investigating losses, Identifying fraud indicators, as well as accurately determine liability.
- Negotiate liability and damages with involved insurance carriers, attorneys, and claimants.
- Assist internal and external customers with claim resolution by phone, email, and through written correspondence, while providing a high level of customer service.
- Obtaining and reviewing evidence, reports, medical records, and litigation materials in a timely manner.
- Establishing and maintaining appropriate reserves.
- Processing settlements and payments timely.
Qualifications
We are seeking experienced candidates with the following qualifications:
- 5 or more years of prior experience adjusting personal or commercial auto injury claims
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and computer skills
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Experience handling caseloads of 200+
- Experience handling more than one State
- Licensing a plus but not required
- College Degree a plus but not required
