The successful candidate has a passion for developing long-term relationships and an interest in financial info, estate planning, mutual funds, and more. If you have great communication skills and an eye for detail, apply today! • No Base salary, it's 100% Commission-based, that's why we get people started on a part-time basis 10-15 hours a week • We have many part-timers that make over $50,000/per year • Must be a permanent resident or a valid work permit • You must live in Canada to apply • Have an entrepreneurial mindset Compensation: Up to $50,000 part-time - $100,000+ per year full-time We are offering a Flexible Remote position as you will need to come into our office once a week. Responsibilities: • Commit to remaining educated about the various types of insurance, insurance-related protocols, and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of program requirements and ensure our customers are satisfied • Implement marketing strategies including, but not limited, to cold calling and networking to connect with potential clients while simultaneously maintaining a portfolio of current clients • Develop risk management strategies for each customer to ensure his or her policy needs are continuously met • Serve as an attentive listener when communicating with new and potential clients in order to accurately identify their unique needs prior to pursuing specific insurance sales • Take ownership of ensuring there are accurate records of all necessary bookkeeping, client, and sales reports in order to track and communicate the status of assigned goals • Be a coachable, organized team member interested in pursuing training development and educational opportunities • Support clients’ progress toward their financial goals through strategic product, plan, and investment recommendations • Seek, identify, and secure strong relationships with new clients by serving as their trusted financial advisor • Customize financial plans for each client based on his or her professional/work circumstances, life stage, and evolving financial needs • Work directly with clients to compile financial profiles that allow you to provide sound financial advice based on each person’s individual financial status, income, financial goals, and other factors contributing to wealth management • Book appointments from leads that you generate through talking to people, business partnerships, social media, etc • Create customized Financial Needs Analysis so clients know where they are and what they need to do to retire • Find the right fit life insurance so clients' loved ones are properly protected  • Move money to our competitive mutual fund products so clients have their money working harder for them • Work with Small Businesses to help them with Health and Dental plans to retain employees Qualifications: • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills required; customer service experience is a plus • Valid insurance license required or candidates must be willing to get licensed • Willingness to learn about the insurance industry, insurance programs, and state and federal regulations that may impact policyholders • Fundamental computer skills such as experience with Microsoft Office • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree a plus • Experience in sales, customer service, or financial services is advantageous but not mandatory • Relevant licenses and certifications (e.g., Life Insurance License (LLQP), Canadian Investment Funds Course (CFIC)) are beneficial, but full training, licensing, and support are available • Strong communication skills to build client relationships effectively • Driven, goal-oriented, and motivated to excel in a commission-based environment • Uphold high levels of professionalism and integrity • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a supportive team About Company: At Life Agency, our main focus is helping families through income protection and financial education.
