Description:

Utilize the Building Management System (BMS) to control Utilities equipment and systems including various steam, water purification, refrigeration, wastewater, compressed air/gas systems, and hazardous chemicals. Troubleshooting: Must be proficient in troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical failures. Insure that all systems including boilers, clean steam generators, water for injection stills, reverse osmosis units, air compressors, chillers, cooling towers, waste water flows and associated equipment functions correctly and ability to perform PM’s, repairs and troubleshoot where needed. Respond to a wide range of mechanical and electrical problems and troubleshoot to repair. Document problems encountered and communicate these though work order systems, electronic mail, and voice systems. Perform inspections on all utility systems and associated equipment. Work with other trade skill sets to complete work orders to trade standards and customer expectations. Willing to continue both formal and informal training in the present skill set to maintain the knowledge of the present and latest technologies. Knowledge of air compressors, air dryers, reverse osmosis units, water distilling units, clean steam generators and the ability to trouble shoot and perform minor maintenance from written procedures in a GMP environment. Basic knowledge and use of hand tools.
