Job description

We are currently seeking a talented Senior Network Engineer to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on the development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of the DISA Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN), a vital enterprise VoIP management system. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing technical expertise and support within a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with DRSN engineers and site personnel to coordinate deployments and maintenance activities.
Evaluate system network requirements and provide technical recommendations accordingly.
Demonstrate proficiency in configuring and managing Juniper networking devices, including remote management connectivity and system updates.
Assist IA personnel with network security and ensure compliance with all IA requirements.
Conduct installation tests and acceptance (IT&A) of network components, both directly and remotely.
Monitor network performance and provide support during deployments as needed.
Possess expert knowledge of IP principles.

Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of related experience, or Master's degree with 10+ years of experience (specific experience, education, and training may be considered in lieu of a degree).
Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Current DoD 8570 certification at IAT level II, Security+ CE.
Experience in remotely configuring networking or transport devices.
Ability to interpret network topology diagrams and propose device configuration changes.
Knowledge of configuring, deploying, and supporting HAIPE (KG-175D), especially with GD GemOne.
Proficiency in Juniper IOS or other IP/transport specific management tools (EMS) and general practices.
Basic Linux Administration or command line interface (CLI) and scripting skills.

Desired Skills:
Experience managing configurations with JunOS space.
Expertise in IP technologies, networking architectures, methodologies, and voice services.
Proficiency in at least two or more of the following devices: SONUS SBC, Juniper MX5 routers, Juniper SRX firewalls, Juniper EX switches, SONUS SBCs, KG175.
Proficiency in at least one of the following tools: SolarWinds or Junos Space.
JNCIA or JNCIP certification.
Proficiency with RADIUS, SNMP, and NTP protocols.
General knowledge of TLS and PKI.

Pay Range:
$108,550.00 - $196,225.00
