Job Description

The Director of Alignment for Avionics Technology reports to a the Dean of Transportation and primarily works independently as a professional contributor. Success in this role requires strong expertise in an industrial technical field, including understanding the current and future workforce needs of the industry, and the ability to collaborate effectively to drive statewide programs towards high quality, industry-relevant, and compelling differentiation.

The Director of Alignment must possess a deep understanding of the industry sector or discipline, as well as strong research and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to adapt to changing needs. The role involves translating industry knowledge into actionable strategies and building strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure the success of initiatives. The Director of Alignment works closely with campus leadership and statewide partners to establish the direction of statewide programs and define clear expectations while staying true to TSTC's mission. This role collaborates with campus leadership, statewide partners, faculty team leads, faculty members, curriculum development shared services, content development shared services, and budget teams to enhance the core capabilities of statewide programs.
