Position overview Position title: Professor of Law or Assistant Professor of Law
Salary range: The posted UC academic salary scales () set the minimum pay determined by rank and/or step at appointment. See the following table for the salary scale for this position . The base salary range, from the salary table, for this position is $182,200-$276,600. Off-scale salaries' and other components of pay, which would yield compensation that is higher than the published system-wide salary at the designated rank and step, are offered when necessary to meet competitive conditions.

Berkeley Law invites applications from tenured and untenured lateral candidates for full-time, tenured and tenure-track faculty positions. We welcome applications from candidates across all areas of law, although subject areas of particular interest include Criminal Justice, Criminal Procedure and Law, Race and Law, Business Law, and Law and Social Justice for lateral candidates.
