Job Summary
Ready to pave the way to success? Barrett Paving Materials, Inc. is looking for a qualified Paving Foreman to join our crew. The Paving Foreman must be proficient to coordinate daily operations and lead all workers at our construction sites. As the point of reference of both workers and supervisors, you will be a key person for the completion of a project. Must have a solid background in the field.
Skills
- Proven experience as construction foreman
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, OSHA guidelines, elevations and grades
- Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to communicate and report optimally
- Proficiency in math
Education
- Five years of civil construction experience.
- High School Diploma or GED Required
Physical Requirements
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods, sometimes in adverse weather conditions
- Wears and maintains personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Regularly exposed to all outdoor weather conditions, dust, airborne particles, and loud noise
