Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic English language instructor to join our team. Schedule:

Full-time, remote teaching position
Daytime hours: Monday through Friday
Evening hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays
Maximum of 40 hours per week
Location:
This position is remote, but candidates must reside near the Sioux Falls area. While ESL instruction is provided online, attendance at staff meetings, in-service trainings, and conferences is required in-person. Residency outside of will not be considered.

Dependent on experience and qualifications

Responsibilities:

Provide online English as a Second Language instruction to refugee and immigrant adults
Develop curriculum and lesson plans aligned with program and grant requirements to create engaging and valuable learning experiences
Participate in required staff meetings, in-service trainings, and conferences (in-person)
Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Education, English, Spanish (when applicable), or related field and one year of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Certification or Master's degree in TESOL preferred
Flexibility, creativity, and effective communication skills with beginning level students having limited previous formal education
Strong technology, cross-cultural, communication, and interpersonal skills
Successful completion of all agency background checks
Valid driver's license and ability to obtain approved driver status

Salary: $ 20.00 25.00 Per Hour
