Job description
Sheppard Pratt is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist for a full-time position at our flagship campus in Towson, Maryland. The position is initially full-time on our Geriatric unit which focuses on providing high quality care of a broad range of late-life mood and behavioral issues. This position provides an opportunity to serve as a leader of a vibrant and collaborative interdisciplinary treatment team as well as opportunities to participate in the expansion of the Geriatric Program into innovative treatment settings in the community. The position also provides opportunities to supervise and mentor trainees.
Requirements
- License to practice in Maryland at the time of hire
- Board certification or Board Eligible (must be board certified within eligibility window)
- Fellowship in geriatric psychiatry is preferred
- Passion for and experience in treating geriatric patients
- Experience treating patients in acute inpatient settings
