So what will you be doing all day? You would join our Health Sector as an MEP Project Manager working on things like… - Responsible for all aspects of project execution and client experience on assigned projects; may support larger/more complex projects
- Assists with the development of project proposals, contracts and project budgets
- Manages the bid processes
- Plans and coordinates project deliverables on assigned projects; may support planning and coordination on larger/more complex projects
- Manages client service and project communication
- Monitors and ensure adherence to budgets and financial expectations
- Responsible for overall project performance
- Contributes to efforts to improve performance and ensure consistent adherence to applicable quality standards
- Supports creating specific program project fees
- Manages client service and communication for specific program projects
- Responsible for the successful execution of assigned program projects; may contribute to other program projects as needed
- Monitors project quality expectations on assigned projects; may support monitoring on other projects as needed
- Ensures deliverables meet project objectives and quality expectations
- Recognizes project conflicts, makes suggestions for resolution and proactively works with other project leaders to resolve
- Manages project design and drafting activities to produce project deliverables; may support design and drafting activities on other projects as needed
- Serves as the primary project contact and brand ambassador
- Maintains regular communication with clients to ensure satisfaction with the project process and engineering work product, and that client views are managed toward the best solution
- Resolves project-related conflict and responds to client requests and questions on assigned projects; may support these activities on other projects as needed
- Travel to certain locations for site visits as needed
Minimum Qualifications For This Role Are… - Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, science, technology, or business preferred. 4 years of relevant experience within the AEC or Professional Services industry will be considered in lieu of requisite education
- Have 5+ years of relevant experience with design and/or construction on a variety of commercial building projects . Healthcare experience is required.
- Have 1+ years of relevant project management experience
- Experience with Revit and CAD is required
Skills & Duties Responsible For This Role… - Have experience with Bluebeam would be highly preferred
- Have a passion for solidifying and nurturing current client and staff relationships
- Are excited about building our client base through networking and identifying new opportunities
- Possess excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Possess a fundamental understanding of building design and construction principles
- Are organized, detail-oriented, and have a high focus on client/customer service
- Have the ability to meet fast-paced deadlines and meeting client's needs for responsiveness while maintaining quality design
- Possess a project management certification is a bonus but not required
- Keeps others well informed and prioritizes audiences, accuracy, and timeliness
- Leads by example, challenges assumptions, and creates candid feedback loops
- Delivers on personal commitments and instills accountability in others
- Holds others accountable for doing their best work
