Description:
Large service and repair pump shop has an opening for the HBM Manual Machinist role.
Machining parts to repair pumps and rotating equipment as specified by work orders, blueprints, sketches or charts.
The candidate will need the experience in manual machining on lathes, small mills, Bridgeport style mills, and vertical turret lathes (VTLs).
Will be machining parts, doing QC on those parts, and helping with assembly/repairs.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience as manual machinist
Lathes, mills, VTLs, and HBM
Machining on rotating equipment
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Troubleshooting and repair machining on pumps
Extensive HBM experience
Wants to work OT
Shift:
1st shift, 6:00am - 4:30pm. They work 4 10's, but it is highly regular for them to work extra on Friday sometimes Saturday to average around 50 hours/week.
Will have a 4 day weekend every other weekend.
