We are building our new technology team as NourishedRx is poised to make an impact on the “food-as-medicine” market, to build a technology solution that will ultimately impact hundreds of millions of at-risk Americans. With modern technology and a patent pending, NourishedRx is transforming the way health plans engage and treat targeted high risk individuals.

Role  

We are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer who is able to manage code releases while working in collaboration with software developers and other IT members. They are responsible for developing and maintaining various infrastructure tools for speedy release of our software. The responsibilities of this position are targeted to help meet the needs of both customers and clients in terms of protecting data and systems to comply with HIPAA. You should be able to ensure that you can  balance various aspects of the project including infrastructure building, security and coding. As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will be reporting to the CTO.  You will work closely with the technology team and would be expected to participate in strategic project planning meetings and build IT solutions as well.

Professional Qualifications: 

• Either a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or related field 
• Master degree in a similar discipline preferred
• Prior experience of at least five years as a software engineer
• Experience working on any of the  Cloud Platforms like Azure, AWS or GCP
• Aware of critical concepts such as DevSecOps and Agile Principles

Responsibilities: 

Key responsibilities of the role include working closely with the technology team, participating in strategic project planning meetings and building IT solutions. As a DevSecOps Engineer, routine application maintenance tasks are an ongoing responsibility and you will be expected to identify practical solutions.

• Analyze the various technologies being used by the company and suggest ways to improve the infrastructure
• Identify and provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions 
• Work with Developers to build CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
• Ensure systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
• Collaborate with Compliance team in maintaining certification requirements like ISO, SOC2 and HITRUST
• Build automated deployments using configuration management technology
• Give recommendations to enhance performance via gap analysis
• Work on incidence management and root cause analysis
• Provision, Configure, Manage, Administer and secure Cloud Platforms

Skills Required

• Knowledge of operating system administration and cloud platform management
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with Node and React 
• Programming languages like C, Java, Javascript or Python
• Scripting environments like Shell Script or PowerShell
• Infrastructure as Code tools like Serverless or Terraform
• Hands on experience with CI/CD Pipeline building tools like Jenkins, Circle CI or Azure DevOps
• Hands on experience in network security, databases and cloud systems management
• Proficient in code visioning tools like Git
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
• Well versed with oAuth2, API security, User and Access management
• Strong critical problem solving skills
• Work with professionalism and integrity
• Meticulous and diligent attributes
• Great client focus and understanding
