Job description

Wheel Fun Rentals is looking for a hardworking and reliable individual to manage one of our Indianapolis locations this summer. Ideal candidate will be available from May through Labor Day. If you are looking to have a fun job where you can enjoy the outdoors-this is the job for you! Hourly rate plus tips and performance based bonus.

You will be in charge of your location, including its employees and responsible for your its general operations, taking whatever steps necessary to make sure it runs smoothly & safely while meeting budgets & goals.

Responsibilities Include:

Staffing

• Interviewing, hiring, training, timely scheduling
• Log & Maintain accurate employee information
• Watch labor percentages and Review & correct staff hours for payroll
• Ongoing training as needed: make sure staff are following standard operating procedures, especially for safety
• Following Operating Principles
• Keep team hydrated, busy/ productive/ motivated, and accountable

Operations

• Shop is organized, clean and operational
• Maintenance Process is being fulfilled
• Rental Fleet is clean and rental ready
• Adequate supplies are in place
• Bulletin boards, group reservation boards and file bins are in order & documents stocked
• Voicemail, signage, website, & social media are checked regularly for accuracy & updated as needed
• Timely submission of Daily & Weekly Reports and Payroll
• Make decisions and post clear signage regarding delays and closures & communicate with team
• Handle customer complaints

Communications

• Productive team meetings
• Relay pertinent, concise, clear shop updates and information to staff, other managers, and owners as needed.
• Identify necessary repairs and improvements

Qualifications

• Prior retail/customer service experience is preferred

This position does require standing for long periods of time

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
