Full-Time EDDA

We are a well-established office in Centennial, CO and we are looking for an experienced EDDA to join our team. Our ideal candidate has 2 or more years of dental practice experience, knowledge or experience working in Open Dental and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take pre and post-op x-rays and intraoral photos
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the schedule
- Place temporary and permanent restorations in teeth and shape to proper contour
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- Radiology certification required
- EDDA/EFDA certification preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- Proficiency in using dental software systems (e.g., Open Dental, Dentrix)
- Familiarity with dental coding and billing processes
- Strong understanding of anatomy and oral health
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge and experience working with dentures is required
