Job description

Work Arrangement

***This is a hybrid role, working up to 3 days onsite in our Wilmington, DE offices.***

 

Performs routine to more complex QA reviews of AML and OFAC processes at varied frequencies ranging from monthly to quarterly. The analyst will also perform quality control tasks to ensure suspicious transactions are appropriately identified and documented and Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) are correctly filed in accordance with regulatory requirements and agency guidelines.

Essential Functions

  1. Reviews alerts and work performed by other analysts related to surveillance and monitoring, due diligence reviews, investigative reviews, subpoena process, and sanctions wire reviews. Escalates alerts, cases, and SARs that do not meet corporate BSA standards and follow through to resolution.
  2. Mentors junior team members and provides guidance.
  3. Assists the QA Team Lead with administration of quality assurance requirements and procedures to ensure that process and work quality standards are maintained and adhere to risk-based standards for compliance testing.
  4. Assesses inherent risks and mitigating controls in the execution of established procedures set for the AML/Sanctions Risk Management program.
  5. Recommends process modifications through actionable reporting of observations and findings.
  6. Documents results and maintenance of QA reports, findings, observations, and correspondence.
  7. Coordinates with the department leadership on quality assurance findings and recommendations to improve accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of documents and processes.
  8. Develops new reviews as needed to support business processes.
  9. Provides ad hoc technical and administrative support for the department.
  10. Develops close working relationships with others in the department to address and resolve issues and concerns.
  11. Performs other duties as assigned.
