What is it that we do at Colonial Pipeline Company?
Colonial Pipeline is the largest refined products pipeline in the United States, transporting more than 100 million gallons or 2.5 million barrels per day. Colonial transports various grades of gasoline, diesel fuel, home heating oil, jet fuel, and fuels for the U.S. military through a pipeline system. Colonial transports approximately 45 percent of all fuel consumed on the East Coast, providing refined products to more than 50 million Americans.
About the Manager, Enterprise Process Excellence Position
As the Manager, Enterprise Process Excellence you will lead a team that develops, enhances, and/or implements fit-for-purpose, best practice processes and methods across the enterprise that underscore efficiency and standardization. This position will ensure operational process excellence alignment with cross-functional stakeholders through efficient and structured methods, policies, & procedures. The Manager, Enterprise Process Excellence will regularly interact with leadership team, functional leaders, district operations, project managers, and subject matter experts.
What You Get to Do:
Develop, enhance and/or implement (enterprise) processes across the enterprise to drive efficiency, standardization, compliance, safety, and accountability.
Develop, lead, and manage the Enterprise Process Excellence team and other cross-functional teams to include day-to-day direction, mentoring, training, guidance, and assistance.
Lead, develop, and execute multi-year strategic roadmap for functional area and defined scope of responsibilities.
Develop annual Enterprise Process Excellence budget & performance plans in coordination with stakeholders, district business units, and subject matter experts. Align activities with company strategy to achieve company goals.
Drive operational effectiveness and stakeholder satisfaction through prompt, accurate and optimal completion of work objectives.
Develop and implement scorecard to be reviewed periodically for applicable projects and performance plans, goals & objectives.
Develop, track, and report Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
What You Bring to the Table:
Bachelor’s degree Business, Engineering or related fields from an accredited college or university or 12+ years’ relevant experience with High School diploma
Ideally, 8+ years related business and/or technical experience.
Ideally, 5+ years of experience people management and/or leading a project management team.
Strong understanding and application of complex processes and procedures.
Strong understanding of current and technologies for advancement, best-in-class knowledge regarding marketplace practices.
Advanced knowledge and skill with process mapping, design, optimization, and implementation.
Solid analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to plan and make decisions using sound judgement.
Commitment to consistently adhere to policies and procedures and be a positive example for others by demonstrating the Company’s core values of Respect, Accountability, Innovation, Safety, and Excellence in completing work assignments.
