Environmental Planner/Wildlife Biologist
Wood Rodgers’ environmental team is a small but growing part of a well-established engineering firm. Wood Rodgers delivers innovative environmental and engineering solutions for a wide range of local, state, and federally funded public works projects, as well as supporting our engineering teams on private development projects. Our core focus is transportation and water resources projects including roadways, bridges, highways, interchanges, bicycle and pedestrian paths, flood protection systems, storm water, levees, pump stations, and other public works facilities.
Wood Rodgers is seeking a highly talented and motivated Wildlife Biologist/Environmental Planner to complete biological resource and environmental planning tasks. This individual will have the ability to conduct field assessments of environmental resources, specifically including biological resources, and to prepare stand-alone environmental reports that comply with CEQA and NEPA regulations.
The ideal candidate will have had experience working on at least 2-3 projects wherein they completed biological surveys; prepared written documentation of findings; and/or provided environmental support through construction.

It is our expectation that the salary will be somewhere in the middle of this range.
This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential and can fluctuate above or below the posted range. If there is an offer, the salary presented will consider several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, and training. Base pay is just one piece of the compensation package offered by Wood Rodgers.
