We are seeking a Chemical QA/QC Specialist for a key client of ours in Ames, Iowa. This position will work primarily in a physical wet chemistry lab for our seed treatment and crop protection production facility. This position would be responsible for:
* Inspection of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods using established test methods
* Calibration and maintenance of lab equipment
* Effective communication of batch results to the appropriate personnel
* Reporting of non-conformances related to quality
* Generation and maintenance of records related to product quality
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
* Laboratory testing to support Quality Analyst on day-to-day projects
* Preparation of media for use in both laboratories
* Microbial Testing and Plate Reading
* Assist in plant swabbing program
* Autoclaving of glassware and solutions
