Then you’ll have success on the Digital Strategy & Platform team, whose goal is to offer guests a seamless online shopping experience across our platforms—including Target.com and the store network’s fulfillment capabilities. Here, you’ll collaborate to create and implement the digital strategies that enrich the online experience through the right mix of personalization, simplicity and intuitiveness. Your ideas will support Target in complementing the beloved in-store shopping interaction with a convenient, reliable and instantly gratifying digital experience.

Use your skills, experience and talents to be a part of groundbreaking thinking and visionary goals. As a Lead Item Data Specialist, you’ll take the lead as you complete item set-ups via partnership with merchant teams, internal stakeholders, and external vendor partners.

You will drive data accuracy and ensure consistency across categories that you work with as well as collaborate with cross functional teams to validate and remediate data according to the category strategy. You will play a key role by evaluating launch readiness through troubleshooting, remediating, and communicating with vendors and internal partners about launch blocks, system issues, and content generation communication. As a lead in the area, you will be responsible for training and assisting with item Center of Excellence trainings for new hires and refresher sessions. You will also be a Department/Division owner in terms of workload planning, prioritization, and process changes and be a point person for communication between various Target locations and the other team members in the group.

About you:
• Four-year degree or equivalent experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Detail oriented, with excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize
• Willingness to embrace ambiguity and remain flexible
• Ability to multi-task with a high sense of urgency and initiative
• Experience researching root issues
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Experience using Microsoft Office software such as Excel and Outlook
