Verso is currently seeking a full-time Pilgrimage Coordinator to support our Operations team in the careful planning and coordination of pilgrimage logistics and the pilgrim experience.
Your role at Verso Ministries:
- Spearhead the operational logistics of our pilgrimages including management of travel, meals, accommodations, site visits, and other arrangements
- Assist with the development of captivating proposals by developing and preparing itineraries, packages, and budgets for private groups
- Serve as a key point of contact and liaison between Verso and our in-country vendors and partners
- Lead domestic and international pilgrimage groups as assigned, including traveling for approximately 10-12 days per trip, 2-3 times per year
- Foster strong relationships and communication with group leaders through emails, calls, meetings, etc.
- Maintain accurate records and operational reports
- Conduct research as needed for current and future pilgrimage destinations
- Provide critical feedback to continually improve our pilgrimage services and operational efficiency
You should have:
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once
- Offer exceptional customer service with confidence and competence
- An ability to learn new skills, to be flexible, respond to ever-changing demands, and perform in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with and passion for domestic and international travel
Bonus points:
- Familiarity with Catholic holy sites and the practice of pilgrimage
- Experience with event or trip planning and customer service
- Understanding of project management techniques and processes
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Adobe suite, and/or a CRM
