Duties and Responsibilities: Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on construction and industrial equipment. Conduct preventive maintenance activities to identify and address potential issues before they cause equipment failure. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system problems. Replace faulty parts and components, ensuring proper installation and calibration. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and parts inventory. Key Requirements, Education, and Experience: Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills. Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical drawings. Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and hand tools. Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Certification or training in mechanical or automotive technology is preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a mechanic in the construction or industrial sector. Knowledge of construction equipment, such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and cranes. Familiarity with diagnostic software and computerized systems is a plus. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Must provide own tools.
