Project Architect

Minneapolis, MN - Hybrid | Direct Hire | $90k – $105k

Konik is partnering with a full-service design firm seeking to add a Project Architect to their architectural team. In this role, you will review project specifications and drawings for quality and code compliance while giving your expertise in design and details. You will also mentor more junior staff. Projects are within Workplace and Healthcare sectors.

What you will do as a Project Architect:

• Review and sign off on drawing sets for architectural interior projects
• Code and quality review of drawings
• Guides and mentors more junior staff
• Coordination with engineering consultants, contractors, and job superintendents as needed
• Analyzes building codes, by-laws, space, and site requirements to determine their effect on architectural designs

Project Architect Requirements:

• Professional Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture
• Licensed Architect in Minnesota
• 10+ years of industry experience working on commercial building projects
• Strong construction & building knowledge with a thorough knowledge of building codes
• Previous experience signing off on drawings is preferred
• Workplace and/or healthcare project experience
• Experience with Revit is preferred
