Location: 101 Pirate Lane Melbourne Job Number: 000790 School Year: 2024 FY Position: INFANT DAYCARE ASSISTANT (ETP) Subtitle/Areas: RE-ADVERTISEMENT STARTING SALARY Based on classification and pay plan for Classified employees: $15.34 per hour Apply By: 03/28/2024 Date Available: 09/04/2023 Status: All Applicants Contract: 9 Month Hours/Day: 6.500 Qualifications/Certifications: INFANT DAY CARE ASSISTANT I: EDUCATION AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: REQUIRED: ' High School diploma or equivalent required. ' Must be 18 years of age. ' Experience in childcare. ' Successful completion of the forty (40) hour DCF Child Care Training Course, or equivalent alternate training in education and/or child-care by starting within 90 days of employment; childcare personnel shall begin training to meet the state training requirements and shall complete such training within 1 year of the date on which the training began. ' Other regulations as required by Consumer Health to maintain compliance with the law. INFANT DAY CARE ASSISTANT II: EDUCATION AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: REQUIRED: ' High School diploma or equivalent required. ' Must be 18 years of age. ' Experience in childcare. ' Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) or other credential recognized by the Florida, Department of Children & Families. ' Other regulations as required by Consumer Health to maintain compliance with the law. INFANT DAY CARE ASSISTANT I & II: CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/TRAINING: REQUIRED: ' Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification. ' Valid Florida Driver's license.
