Job description
LHH is seeking a litigation paralegal with construction/construction defect experience interested in a full-time job opportunity with a well-respected firm in Sarasota, FL. You will be responsible for drafting, formatting, and proofreading correspondence and legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, discovery requests, etc.; maintaining department records, all aspects of discovery; coordinating court dates and appearances; trial prep; deposition prep; scheduling meetings with witnesses and other involved parties; legal research; document production; and other tasks as assigned. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized multi-tasker with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications:
3+ years of litigation experience, construction litigation a must.
Strong computer proficiency, especially with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
Solid organizational and multi-tasking skills with high attention to detail
Great communication and interpersonal skills with a helpful, no-job-too-small mindset
Salary: $65,000/yr. - $75,000/yr.
