Job description
We are looking for a Workday BA/ Configuration Support Engineer for our client.
Our client is one of the worlds well-known IT companies, with a portfolio of tools used widely in the IT industry. It is a multinational company with development offices across the world.
We are looking for an experienced Workday Business Analyst for the People Technology team. Working with teams across Australia, the US, the Philippines, and India, you will integrate internal and external systems largely around our HR systems.
This position is a short-term assignment (3 months) with the possibility of extending the contract.
Experienced in Business Analysis (or other positions with similar duties) for 5+ years
Skilled in Workday configuration and testing including expertise in customizing Workday modules
Knowledgeable of Core HCM, Security and Compensation, Business Process Security Policies, security audit policies, procedures, and segregation of duties
Experienced in creating User-based, Role-based, and intersection security, implementation of security best practices
Used to create Workday reports based on requirements from business
Skilled in testing activities, document test scenarios, and test scripts
Possessing knowledge of key business analysis tasks, elements, and techniques
Familiar with management principles and project management specifics
Experienced in Business architecture frameworks, and business process modeling
Possessing strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills
Decomposing high-level understanding into details and abstracting up from low-level elements to a general vision
Showing strong teamwork and communication skills (negotiation, facilitation)
Upper-Intermediate (B2+) level of English
Build trustful relationships and constantly communicate with stakeholders and stakeholder groups
Develop stakeholder register, communication and engagement plans, DACI and RACI matrices, etc.
Collect inputs regarding business goals, business requirements, priorities, and expected delivery dates
Work on cross-team alignment regarding requirements, prioritization, delivery timelines, and other product development activities to ensure constant and timely value delivery
Identify and document business goals, business needs and pain points, problem context, functional and non-functional requirements, assumptions and constraints, etc., using available channels and analysis techniques
Constantly verify findings with key stakeholders
Create business flow documentation for Workday and keep it updated
Discuss requirements and share updates with the Workday dev team
Set up cross-team communication, dependencies alignment, and expectations management regarding WD requirements with PeopleTech teams
Identify and verify service SLOs changes
Standardize requirements templates and requirements approaches
Create proposals for Product Manager(s) regarding ICIMS requirements/behavior changes
Work closely with Team Leads and engineering team(s) to generate potential solution options to meet business needs, creating proposals and presenting them to the decision-maker (s)
Scope and define product improvements that tie to identified business goals & customer outcomes
Leverage key platform capabilities where possible or help improve them
Maintain ongoing support of the team(s) during planning and implementation activities
Manage and prioritize the backlog
Participate in executive testing
