W2 Contract

Title: Solr Admin

Location: Austin, TX (3 days hybrid in a week)

• Requires a total of 7+ years of IT experience.
• 3-4 years of experience with Apache Solr admin.
• Experience with search index optimization and performance tuning
• Experience with Linux/Unix administration, shell scripting, and automation
• Experience with Java Virtual Machine (JVM) monitoring, profiling, and optimization
• Strong understanding of search engine architecture and development
• Experience with cloud infrastructure such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
• Solid understanding of software development principles and concepts
• Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus
• Knowledge of DevOps is an added advantage.
