Anesthesiologist - Medical Director

We are seeking a Anesthesiologist to join our growing team as a Medical Director in Port Charlotte, Florida!

Compensation Package:

• Up to $1,000 to $1,500 + Per Day (Based on Experience)

Requirements:

• Flexible Schedule (2 Days a Week or 2 Days Every Other Week)
• Medical doctorate and completion of an accredited fellowship
• Current (or soon obtain) license in Florida
• Board Certification in Anesthesia or Pain Management
• Experience with performing/administering interventional treatments such as steroid injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablations, and spinal cord stimulators
• Sound understanding of pertinent state and federal regulations including HIPPA, OSHA, CDC, and HHS guidelines for the administration of pain management

Responsibilities:

• Prescribe Medication and Sign Off on Prescriptions
• Seeing 25+ Year Old Patients
• When On Site - Working 8:30AM to 3:30PM
• 1 Hour for New Patients and 130 Minutes for Injections
• Perform physical examinations of patients to evaluate, diagnose, and determine appropriate treatment plan; Educate patients on condition, treatment plan, and home care
• Perform interventional pain procedures under fluoroscopy on-site
• Document and maintain patient charts in the EMR system (Athena)
• Manage follow-up care, address changes in conditions, and amend treatment plan as needed
• Order, administer, and analyze diagnostic tests, administer injections and in-office procedures
