This Bookkeeper position will be located in the Tucson, Arizona area and will be a short-term contract / contract opportunity.
Key responsibilities
- Assemble financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
- Settle accounts by reconciling entries
- Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
- Examine payments received and record deposits
- Preside over an efficient system to track financial transactions and define policies and procedures for bookkeeping
- Manage and review general ledger
- Look after archived records by categorizing documents Requirements – Solid understanding of billing
- Previous experience using accounting software
- BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
- Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
