SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF TEACHER'S ASSISTANT OPPORTUNITY * Assist classroom teacher with lesson delivery, classroom management, and material development
* Track student progress throughout the day, sometimes with the use of charts or graphics
* Empower students with strategies that enhance their strengths
* Help teacher facilitate technology in the classroom when necessary
* Provide an encouraging and supportive presence to students
* Monitor the classroom to minimize distractions and disruptions
* Working with toddler and preschool children on social skills and day to day skills
CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE * Minimum of a High School Diploma
* Associate degree, Parapro a plus!
* Ability to complete and pass clearances: FBI, Child Abuse Clearance and State Criminal Background
