Full-Time Regional Sales Manager Opportunity
Salary: Base $70k+ DOE + Commission
We are a growing medical device company specializing in Smart Technologies, seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Regional Sales Manager. In this role, you will be instrumental in expanding our customer base in the vibrant state of Michigan. We are looking for someone who is self-driven, passionate about sales, orthopedics, and smart technology, and enjoys networking, teaching, and leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Travel within your assigned territory to meet with surgeons, conduct product demonstrations, host educational labs, train fellow professionals, and drive growth with existing distributors while establishing new partnerships.
- Increase sales and utilization of our KneeAlign, UniAlign, and HipAlign products throughout your territory.
- Deliver primary clinical training and education to customers, as well as disseminate technical product information.
- Collaborate closely with the Assistant Vice President/Area Sales Director to develop tailored sales goals, strategies, and execution plans.
- Coach and instruct users on the effective utilization of our technology.
- Manage administrative tasks such as sales reports, inventory control, and expense reporting promptly and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of sales experience in hip and knee implants, enabling technologies, or capital sales of orthopedic products.
- In-depth knowledge of orthopedics, specifically hip and knee replacements.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Residency in the assigned territory.
- Proven track record of sales growth and customer acquisition.
- Expertise across primary operating room procedures, demonstrating confidence as a partner and product expert.
- Familiarity with territory markets and the healthcare system.
- Understanding of the sales process within hospital and Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) environments.
- Thorough understanding of the orthopedic marketplace, particularly enabling technologies like robotics and navigation.
- Experience with partial, primary, and revision knee/hip replacements, as well as success with product approval committees.
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive in an unstructured environment.
