Job description

Revology Cars is hiring a Quality Engineer at the Orlando, Florida facility where we build new Ford-licensed reproduction 1965-68 Mustang and Shelby GT automobiles . To be successful in this role, the candidate must be able to effectively apply quality assurance methodologies in a manufacturing environment.

ABOUT THE JOB

The Quality Engineer develops and implements process and product control methods for Body-In-White ( BIW ) , Paint, & Assembly . Roles and responsibilities include:

• Develop and draft control plans .
• Champion corrective actions using A3 , 8D methodology , 5 Why, & Ishikawa
• Ensure effective implementation of the new parts in production .
• Develop and implement inspection criteria for manufacturing and quality technicians.
• Champion containment activity to closure
• Demonstrate measurable performance improvements and use testing methods to validate specifications .
• Oversee creation & ret ention of master sample production parts .
• Perform internal process audits.
• Supervise quality technicians and inspectors.
• Other related duties assigned by the Quality manager .
• Plan, manage and report workload while proactively communicating foreseeable challenges .

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering, production/operations management, or related technical field.
• 5+ years' experience in an automotive quality engineering capacity ( equivalent experience in a similar manufacturing environment will be considered) .
• Experi ence with Body-in-White (BIW) with in the automotive industry is highly desirable . Automotive paint manufacturing experience and knowledge of best practices is a plus .
• Demonstrated experience self-managing priorities and projects .
• Experience with IS O 9001 (ISO 9001:2015, TS 16949, IATF 16949, or VDA experience is a plus)
• Demonstrated knowledge of process capability statistics
• Demonstrated e xperience with Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (PFMEAs)
• Demonstrated experience with SPC implementation and monitoring.
• Ability to interpret CMM reports .
• Ability to interpret technical documents (e.g., drawings & weld specifications)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• LSS green belt or black belt certification is a plus .
• AIAG experience is a plus .

PAY AND BENEFITS

• Salary range is $105.2-134.8k.
• Performance bonus of 10%.
