Stewardship – Engages team in the right way
- Provide plant engineering, design, and management for reliability projects of various sizes in a chemical manufacturing plant.
Quality – Ensures work quality (right the first time)
- Champion standard work processes relating to improved equipment reliability.
- Work closely in a team atmosphere with various functional roles in the routine and non-routine repair of instrumentation and electrical equipment
Production/Reliability – Work Execution
- Perform root cause analysis of failed components.
- Perform technical review of instrument and electrical systems (designs and modifications).
Strategy – Implements maintenance plans
- Manage small projects related to plant reliability improvements.
- Lead technical design of instrument and electrical projects, conforming to applicable codes and standards
Communication – Effective communication to key stakeholders
- Provide economic evaluation of improvement opportunities at the plant.
- Stewardship and technical review of Safety Instrumented Systems.
- Provide technical expertise to Operations and Maintenance personnel
- BS in Electrical Engineering
- 3 years of experience as Instrument or I&E Engineer in Chemical or Refining industries.
- Process Instrumentation experience Including Process Monitoring Devices, Control Valves, Distributed Control Systems
- Knowledge of SIS system fundamentals, motor control fundamentals, electrical testing fundamentals, maintenance work processes
- Strong safety champion who will lead in achieving zero incidents and injuries
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple simultaneous assignments.
- Ability to Work as self-directed individual or in a team based environment.
- Self-motivated with ability to originate and adapt to new ideas.
- Working knowledge of SAP or other CMMS maintenance software.
- Team building and networking skills.
