Trauma Surgeon Opening in North Houston

Established Private Practice is seeking a  Board Eligible |  Board Certified Trauma Surgeon with a desire to do trauma , critical care , and occasional acute care call. The Surgical Group of the Woodlands is honored to provide exclusive, 24/7 trauma coverage at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center. This location is a busy ACS-Verified Level II Trauma Center with over 2,000 trauma admissions annually, and a major catchment hospital for the area of north Houston. 

The practice has been serving the North Houston area with a strong reputation and excellent referral base.

Job Description:

• BC/BE
• Active Texas Medical License
• Procedures: General surgery including trauma and critical care
• Call: Acute care general surgery @2-3 nights per month 
• Schedule: 2 + 1 model
• Single facility location
• NP Support on site
• Scribe service available
• EMR: ECW (Epic in 2024)
• Level II Trauma Center
• Partnership track available
