Job description
- Design, configure, and deploy Nutanix-based hyper-converged infrastructure solutions tailored to the specific needs of our clients.
- Monitor and maintain Nutanix clusters to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security
Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, system administrators, and security experts, to integrate Nutanix solutions into existing environments.
- Create comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and best practices for Nutanix-based systems.
- Continuously optimize Nutanix clusters to improve efficiency, scalability, and resource utilization.
- Implement and maintain security best practices to protect Nutanix infrastructure and data.
- Plan and execute Nutanix software upgrades and patches in a way that minimizes downtime and risk.
- Share knowledge with team members and provide training to clients on Nutanix technologies.
- Plan and execute application and virtual machine migrations from legacy virtualization platforms.
OUR MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Nutanix certification (e.g., Nutanix Certified Professional) is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing Nutanix-based hyper-converged infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of other virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Proficiency in networking, storage, and server technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
- Knowledge of industry best practices in data center and cloud technologies.
- Proficient in Hybrid Cloud, Virtualization, and Container technologies.
- Familiar with project tracking tools (e.g
Jira), Git (any Version Control systems), and CI/CD systems (e.g
GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Proficient in general purpose programming languages (Python, GoLang, C/C++) and development platforms and technologies (GIT, JIRA, Jenkins, etc.).
- Experience with Agile and DevOps operating models.

- Established record of leading technical initiatives and delivering results.
