The Mobile Technician is responsible for providing timely and accurate mobile auto repair services to customers throughout the Atlanta metro area and other surrounding communities. In this role, the successful candidate will troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, make repairs and install parts for a wide variety of Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Creativity and sound problem-solving skills to identify and address customer vehicle issues is key to providing a top-notch customer service experience.

Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate vehicle repair services with customers.
- Travel to off-site locations and perform repairs in a mobile auto garage.
- Utilize a variety of diagnostic tools and specialty tools to identify and repair mechanical issues on vehicles.
- Test drive vehicles to confirm repairs prior to returning to customer.
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks such as replacing brakes or batteries, changing oil, lubricating parts, adjusting carburetor linkage, doing tune-ups, etc.
- Install parts and accessories including tires, car stereos, navigation systems, etc.
- Remain up to date on the latest Mercedes-Benz models and any developments in repair technology.
- Assist with the training of new Mobile Technicians at Mercedes-Benz of Atlanta Northeast.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- ASE Certification in Automobile Repair
- Knowledge of European luxury vehicle mechanics or a combination of equivalent experience and education
- Proficiency in the use of diagnostic and speciality tools
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- At least 5 years of experience in diagnosing and repairing automobiles
