Job description

Coeur is a fine dining restaurant in Ferndale, Michigan. At Coeur, we are rooted in a desire to serve delicious food that is envisioned and produced simply and cleanly. We source high-quality ingredients that are grown responsibly and sourced locally and seasonally so we can support the communities where we do business. We work with farmers and artisans who share our values, who look to the future and acknowledge that the way we treat our land and our environment has a profound impact today and for generations to come.

We are looking for an experienced host who has experience with high volume, sophisticated properties and has knowledge of the Metro Detroit fine dining scene. 

The responsibilities of the host include:

In addition to the above, we look for people that possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the role. We are always willing to train anyone with the right attitude and desire to grow, as you can't teach hospitality.

Our operation is employee focused, ensuring that all staff feel that they are valued and benefit from their job above and beyond the standard of financial motivators. In addition, we pay $15 an hour, as well as 4% of total tips, split amongst all hosts on duty. 

We are seeking people who take responsibility and look to achieve greatness in their field.
