Job description

As a Senior Business Consultant, you will play a crucial role in providing billable business consulting and training services to clients, focusing on the CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine) system. Your responsibilities will extend to project execution, system implementation, end-user training, and delivering high-quality solutions to complex tactical-level problems in the realm of manufacturing and distribution. The role requires expertise in financials, cost accounting, MRP, planning and scheduling, project management, process modeling, and system implementation methodology, specifically with SyteLine 8 or 9.

Primary Objectives:

Provide billable business consulting and training services for CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine) system.
Execute and implement project plans, ensuring on-time delivery.
Conduct on-site client interactions and build effective relationships.
Develop comprehensive deliverable documentation for clients.
Conduct end-user training sessions.
Analyze and recommend solutions for complex tactical-level problems.
Engage in manufacturing business process analysis and modeling.
Contribute to test plan development and participate in system testing.
Provide internal and external status reporting.
Responsibilities:

Execute and implement project plans within specified timelines.
Interact directly with clients on-site, ensuring effective communication and understanding of their needs.
Develop comprehensive deliverable documentation for clients to ensure clarity and transparency.
Conduct end-user training sessions to facilitate a smooth transition to CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine).
Analyze complex tactical-level problems and recommend effective solutions.
Engage in manufacturing business process analysis and modeling to optimize operational efficiency.
Contribute to the development of test plans and actively participate in system testing.
Provide internal and external status reporting to keep stakeholders informed.
Position Requirements:

SyteLine 8 or 9 expertise is required; SyteLine 6 or older is recommended.
25 to 50% travel within the US is mandatory, with infrequent international travel.
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to see the "big picture" for globally optimized solutions.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to make independent decisions and communicate convincingly across different organizational levels.
Eagerness to learn and apply new skills, with a quick and effective self-learning capability.
Proficient in MS Project, Excel, Access & Oracle/SQL (beginner level), and general MS navigation.
Insight into both the business and technological aspects of Supply Chain processes.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with flexibility in handling simultaneous projects.
Strong customer service attitude, self-motivation, and a commitment to high standards.
Ability to work with minimal supervision, meet deadlines, and maintain a high energy level.
Requirements:

Bachelor's or master's degree in an analytical field (MIS, math, operations research, engineering, logistics, or science).
3+ years of SyteLine product experience with analytical skills in a manufacturing and distribution environment.
5+ years of experience in client industries Infor serves, particularly in forecasting, scheduling, planning, logistics, and manufacturing.
APICS Certified (CPIM) is recommended.
In-depth knowledge of finite scheduling, simulation, or solver-based optimization.
Experience in implementing forecasting, planning & scheduling software.
