Summary

This is an opportunity for a steadfast earnest person to begin a career in Early Learning Education with on-the-job training.

The Teacher's Assistant helps to keep the classroom safe and clean for the children and helps the teacher with learning activities. This position is very rewarding. We are looking for a team player who has the ability to communicate and to gain the love and trust of her students. Teacher Assistants also help the teacher to observe and document children's interest and progress.

Assist in the implementation of curricula activities and encourage participation by children.

Actively engage in activities; manage cleanliness, maintenance, and availability of classroom materials.

Encourage self-help and good hygiene through behavior modeling.

Help ensure smooth, daily transition from home to child care center.

Follow all center policies and state regulations.

Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.

Training provided.

Current first aid and CPR certification within 30 days of hire.

Nice to have applicant who has completed DCF on-line courses adding up to 45 hours. If you have not completed DCF 45 hours, then you will be required to do so within 30 days of hire .
