Asphalt Estimator/Sales
Our client is a leading provider of asphalt services dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions to their clients. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a skilled Asphalt Estimator/Sales Rep to join their team and contribute to their success.
Responsibilities:
- Solicit and respond to bid opportunities across the assigned geographic region.
- Methodically evaluate and analyze bid specifications, plans, scope of work, related drawings, production rates, and profitability margins.
- Collaborate with project teams to gather and analyze data for accurate estimates.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to generate new business opportunities and expand the company's client base.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Identify and pursue potential clients through networking, cold calling, and other outreach efforts.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to prospective clients.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms with clients to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and construction techniques.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to gather relevant project information.
Qualifications: - Minimum 5+ years of estimating/sales experience in the asphalt industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience preferred
- Proven experience in estimating, sales and business development
- In-depth knowledge of asphalt materials, construction methods, and industry best practices.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and specialized estimating software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and goals.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with local regulations and permits
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and effectively manage time and priorities.
