Youth Program Lead: The Youth Program Lead for the YMCA will provide direct leadership to all Youth and Family programs and staff while the Coordinators and Directors are not in the building. This position works 25 hours/week during the school year and 40 hours/week during the summer.

• Is present at the start of all Youth and Family program classes to welcome participants, guide introductions, and conduct check-ins
• Plans and creates program curriculum
• Assists with planning and execution of special events
• Creates registration forms for all Youth and Family programs
• Aids in program communications
• When staff are unable to work, finds a replacement, or fills in for that staff person
• Works with the Youth and Family Coordinators to implement existing and new programs
• Maintains knowledge of all class formats and is able to provide members with class descriptions

Pay & Benefits:

• $14.07+/hour
• Part-time employees begin accruing Sick Leave immediately upon hire and Paid Time Off (PTO) after one year of employment

Qualifications:

• At least 18 years old
• At least 6 months of experience working with youth
